Just so you know, that’s where my head is lately. IVF, turning 40 in a month or less, marriage and men and how much I still love them, motherhood and why I scream at my kid when she poops on the rug (guess I am not really a ‘positive parent’) , moving back to Canada…. I have read comments and will be doing the xanga tour. You know who you are. I’ll be there, reading.

How can you possibly do anything but scream when there’s poop on the rug? My daughter pooped on the patio once when she was two, but she was the one who screamed then. They don’t like to see pieces of themselves falling off (out), do they?
I dunno, I think poop on the rug calls for yelling. How else will she know how to respond when her own kid poops on the rug?
Lots to ponder SM. When’s your birthday? How does approaching 40 feel to you? And poop on the rug is not really a good thing to have on any day.
