Very interesting. I think more American moms sleep with their kids than will admit it. It's so much easier, especially in those first few months and if you're nursing. Thanks for the link!
Thank You! My inlaws think that you should let your baby cry and I dont! They would get so angry with me when I would cuddle my sweet ones when they cried. I figured, if they are crying, they need a hug!!
Hmm, common sense may win after all.... Thank you for sharing that.
hhmm I remember being told, "Don't pick him up when he cries! You're spoiling him!" He was tiny then. Ofcourse me being the defiant bitch I am, I picked him up just to spite who said that. I never let my kids cry it out. Why on earth should you do that? It causes major stress to everyone.
haha. sounds like my mom!
Hmmm I don't know about that. I was an attachment parent, IE he slept in our bed I never ever let him cry it out. Yes he is a very secure kid and he is also the biggest damn drama king I have ever met, starting at eight anything and everything could push his emotional buttons he went through a lot of unfounded fear. I wouldn't put a lot into this study, I suspect Dylan (my son) will take after mom when it comes to general anxiety. I suspect it's GENETIC and not learned.
